Join Our Team as a Marketing Intern!

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated marketing intern to join our Pool Solutions marketing department. If you’re an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in brand management and/or shopper marketing, then we want to work with you! You will lead and collaborate on a variety of brand projects and initiatives, including creating promotional presentations, driving in-store point-of-purchase (POP) activities, and coordinating with multiple vendors and agencies to support the residential pool and spa business. As a Marketing Intern at Pool Solutions, you’ll report directly to the Brand Manager. This internship is remote based, ideally suited for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone within the United States.

In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to stay updated on the latest trends and industry insights. Research and evaluate competitor marketing strategies and digital content to gain insights and competitive advantages.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the marketing department.
  • Project Lead & Tracking: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of diverse shopper & activation projects and initiatives.
  • Agency Coordination: Partner closely with agency as a liaison between internal teams and external agencies and developers, facilitating seamless task coordination.
  • Event Planning: Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing events, ensuring their success.
  • In-Store Activation: Provide support in executing in-store activation projects. Organize in coordinating materials needed for POP. Maintain relationships with shopper and activation vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Role is remote-based.
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate course for marketing, communications, or similar field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a passion for marketing.
  • Outstanding multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work individually and with the team.
  • The candidate must possess excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
