An award-winning UK accounting and auditing firm is looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join their Financial Services division in Cape Town. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of Financial Services clients, take responsibility for assurance engagements, and support team development.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (SA)
- 4 - 6 years of total auditing experience
- Experience managing audits from planning to completion
- Strong experience with group financial statements and consolidations
- Experience auditing international groups
- Knowledge of international auditing standards
- Working knowledge of tax
- Experience with CaseWare (or similar accounts production software)
- Strong communication, presentation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and meet tight deadlines
- Strong leadership and team development capability
- Financial Services regulatory audit knowledge
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and ISAs is desirable
