About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Client Services Manager to source, win the work, and grow high-value client partnerships. This is a revenue-carrying, sales-forward role with full ownership of pipeline, quota, and new business outcomes—you are expected to generate opportunities, move deals forward, and win new business.

You will prospect marketing, brand, and creative leaders at mid-market and enterprise companies, lead discovery and pitch conversations, and partner with Creative Directors and Strategists to shape proposals. The focus is building relationships that grow over time—from initial projects to longer-term partnerships.

You come from a creative agency environment and are fluent in how creative work gets made—from strategy and concepting through production and delivery. You can confidently guide conversations with CMOs, Heads of Brand, and Marketing leaders, and connect creative work to business outcomes.

You’ll work across SketchDeck, Markacy, Futureman, and 24 Seven to deliver integrated creative solutions and unlock larger, more strategic opportunities.

This role reports to the SVP, Client Services.

What You’ll Do:

Business Development & Growth

    • Own your pipeline end-to-end—from prospecting through close and expansion
    • Build pipeline through outbound efforts; you generate your own opportunities
    • Identify and engage key decision-makers across marketing, brand, and creative teams
    • Lead discovery and pitch conversations to win the work
    • Advance opportunities with clarity, urgency, and strong follow-through
    • Grow accounts by identifying opportunities across teams, regions, and workstreams
    • Expand engagements into more integrated, long-term partnerships
    • Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and provide accurate weekly forecasts
    • Partner with Markacy, Futureman, and 24 Seven to co-sell and expand opportunities

Strategic Creative Partnership

    • Lead consultative conversations that connect business challenges to creative solutions
    • Guide clients through the full creative process—from brief and positioning through execution and delivery
    • Build and deliver proposals and pitch narratives with Creative Directors and Strategists
    • Position SketchDeck as a strategic creative partner, not just a delivery team
    • Clearly articulate how creative work—branding, campaigns, digital experiences, and content—drives measurable impact

Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with Creative Directors, Strategists, Project Directors, and Operations to scope work accurately from the start
    • Hand off cleanly to delivery with clear briefs and aligned expectations
    • Bring market and client insights back to inform offering development
    • Align with Operations early on resourcing and timelines to keep ambition feasible

What Success Looks Like:

Full-cycle opportunity ownership

You own opportunities from outreach through close—carrying defined revenue targets and converting pipelines into long-term partnerships.

Trusted strategic client partnerships

Clients rely on you to guide them, expanding conversations beyond individual projects.

Creative-led business development

You sell creative strategy—not just deliverables—and help clients understand the value of strong creative.

Sustainable, long-term growth

You build relationships through thoughtful engagements—driving consistent growth rather than one-off wins.

Clear ownership of growth performance

You own pipeline health, conversion, revenue contribution, and account expansion.

Requirements

    • 7+ years in client-facing roles within a creative agency, with experience selling creative services
    • Proven track record of carrying and hitting quota ($2M+ annually preferred)
    • Experience building pipeline through outbound prospecting
    • Strong creative fluency—comfortable speaking to branding, campaigns, digital experiences, content, and production
    • Working knowledge of creative tools and workflows (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, digital/web production)
    • Comfortable leading client presentations and pitches, with the ability to win the work
    • Experience scoping, pricing, and negotiating SOWs ($100K–$1M+ deal sizes)
    • Proven ability to grow accounts and expand relationships over time
    • Strong written and verbal communication—clear, direct, and confident
    • Experience navigating executive-level conversations and complex stakeholder environments
    • Ability to collaborate across creative, strategy, and operations to shape solutions that are both compelling and executable

Benefits

Compensation:
Base Salary: $90k + with uncapped commission.

Year One OTE: $150K+

Year two OTE: $250K+ as you build your book of business.

  • Health insurance (medical, dental, and vision)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Fully remote working environment (established pre-COVID and continuing forward)
  • Paid time off that grows with tenure
  • Annual company retreat
  • Computer hardware of your choice (up to $1,500)
  • $500 towards your office setup expenses
  • To work with a talented team of designers, team members, and engineers

SketchDeck's journey began in 2013, born from the vision of co-founders Chris Finneral and David Mack. They recognized a common frustration among businesses: the challenge of accessing high-quality, on-brand design quickly and efficiently. What started as an idea to solve everyday design bottlenecks soon blossomed, attracting early backing from prestigious names like Y Combinator in their Winter 2014 batch. This early support provided the fertile ground for SketchDeck to cultivate its innovative platform, which uniquely combined talented human designers with smart technology to streamline the creative process. The initial focus was on transforming how companies, from burgeoning startups to established enterprises, approached their design needs, particularly for marketing, sales, and communication materials.

Over the years, SketchDeck meticulously built its reputation by delivering consistent, professional design work across a spectrum of requirements, from compelling presentations and engaging infographics to comprehensive branding projects. The company's model was designed for scalability and speed, addressing the dynamic demands of modern businesses. This commitment to evolving with client needs led to the expansion of their services, embracing a full suite of creative solutions. The platform grew not just in its offerings but also in its global reach, fostering a distributed team of creative professionals. A significant milestone in SketchDeck's evolution came in March 2023, when it was acquired by 24 Seven, a prominent digital marketing and creative recruiting firm. This acquisition marked an exciting new chapter, aiming to further SketchDeck's mission to democratize professional creative design and significantly expand its scale and capabilities, integrating its strengths into 24 Seven's broader suite of talent solutions and studio services. Today, SketchDeck continues its narrative as a next-generation creative agency, dedicated to helping brands realize their limitless potential through quality creative and digital solutions, delivered on demand.
