SixMap is seeking an experienced marketing professional to develop and manage multiple lead generation, sales support and brand management programs. The ideal candidates will have led marketing efforts in early-stage technology startups. We are looking for someone who is comfortable building marketing strategies, creating messaging directed towards the cybersecurity community, and has a knack for innovative lead generation strategies. The prime candidate would have security domain expertise and possess product marketing strengths.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for partnering and consulting with the Sales team and customers to understand the customer’s business and technical requirements, and specific use cases while providing technical expertise regarding the SixMap product features, specifications, design, customization, implementation, integration and account management of complex technical products and services.
- Lead the pre-and-post sales technical discussions in client and partner meetings across multiple levels and disciplines to identify business and technical needs, issues, and priorities.
- Formulate written and oral responses to customer inquiries/questions concerning services and highly complex system designs and provide recommendations and technical guidance.
- Provide engineering services to new and existing customers including onboarding, training, and quality assurance of SixMap services and designs, in accordance with prescribed technical and contractual requirements.
- Draft and deliver technical documentation and capability presentations for both internal and external customers.
- Prepare and deliver a demo of the service and ease of integration in the customer’s environment.
- Coordinate and provides technical pre-sales and post-sales support with SixMap product development, marketing, engineering, and operations teams.
- Work closely within SixMap to highlight emerging customer requirements and use cases, convey the competitive landscape, and coordinate across internal SixMap teams to ensure implementations meet or exceed customer expectations, timelines, and sales goals.
- Cross-collaborate and communicate customer needs and product enhancements to Product
- Management and Engineering Teams.
- Understand customers current security environment and critical applications and execute proof of concept engagements as needed to convert opportunities into technical win.
- Managing trials/POCs with multiple clients.
- Completing RFPs and security questionnaires and other technical documentation as needed
- during the sales process.
- Maintaining relationships with technical staff in information security departments across a variety of industries.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in product marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technical background and experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies and campaigns in the cybersecurity sector.
- Deep understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels and tactics, with proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Startup experience is a must, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
