What you'll do:
Provide an excellent customer experience that is personal and forms effective partnerships with management, candidates, peers, and vendors.
Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs, job duties, and required qualifications and skills to prepare a recruitment plan.
Perform full-cycle recruiting to support staffing at all levels of Silgan’s operations, from entry-level roles to technical, skilled trades, and professional.
Develop job ads and marketing materials to promote open positions.
Responsible for identifying, engaging, attracting, and hiring talent from various institutions like high schools, technical colleges, universities, military installations, and local communities.
Accountable for sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, pre-employment screenings, and extending and negotiating offers.
Recruit quality active and passive candidates using job boards, sourcing tools, social media, and networking relationships.
Use sourcing techniques to find, engage, and activate diverse, passive candidates to build robust candidate pipelines.
You'll need to have:
1099 ability.
Bachelor's degree, preferred.
2+ years full-cycle recruitment experience; will consider the experience in place of education.
2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2 + years of experience with sourcing to build robust and diverse talent pipelines.
Possess current knowledge of relevant employment laws and practices, especially recruitment and hiring regulations.
Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) like Workday, iCIMS, Zoho, Bullhorn, etc.
Campus and military recruiting experience preferred.
Ability to influence others within a matrix environment while building effective business partnerships.
Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.
Solid organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing abilities.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office.
High level of professionalism and effective communication skills.
