Job Summary:
This position will work closely with the global Accounting and Operations teams on inventory reconciliation and process accuracies. A successful candidate will understand the financial as well as the supply chain aspects of the business.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with Finance and Operations teams to reconcile inventory discrepancies and inquiries related to inventory activity
- Review inventory adjustments to ensure they are hitting the correct part of the sub ledger
- Advise and collaborate with other areas of the business on best practices for executing and transacting inventory movement which is not within the normal course of business
- Partner with Purchasing for review of 3rd party inventory reconciliation and bulk and scrap usage
- Special projects and other duties as assigned

- Able to analyze data and derive conclusions
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter, high degree of initiative and independence, but also able to work with cross functional teams and various levels within Shiseido
- Resourceful, logical and creative problem solver
- Strong organizational skills, able to perform multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently
- High level of accuracy, able to detect inconsistencies and errors
- Action oriented, works with a sense of urgency and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent computer skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, Access , Outlook)
- Results and deadline oriented. Flexible with working the necessary hours to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of JDE and Kronos a plus
- High school diploma required, college degree a plus
- 3+ years of Inventory Control or Accounting experience
