How we'll deliver success:Shippo is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing team and help shape the future of shipping for e-commerce businesses. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to design intuitive, user-friendly experiences that solve complex problems in a dynamic industry. You’ll work across all stages of the product development process—from user research and wireframes to prototyping and polished visual design—making meaningful contributions to the products our customers rely on every day.
Shipping & handling responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into thoughtful, usable, and elegant design solutions.
- Support and participate in design sessions to explore ideas, validate assumptions, and refine product direction.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design intent.
- Contribute to information architecture and user flows to ensure smooth, cohesive experiences.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate usage data to inform design decisions.
- Work with existing design system and contribute to its ongoing evolution.
- Iterate on existing features and design patterns based on user feedback and business needs.
Do you tick the boxes?
- A strong product design portfolio showcasing UX thinking and design process on work shipped to production.
- 6+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design roles.
- Solid understanding of interaction design, usability principles, and responsive design.
- Experience conducting user research and integrating findings, data, and analytics into design decision-making.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC) and working within or contributing to a design system.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Ability to clearly articulate design rationale and communicate effectively with teammates and stakeholders.
- Experience creating assets with the appropriate level of fidelity to communicate design direction.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones.
- Motivated, self-directed, and excited to contribute to a fast-paced team.
