About Shaman

Shaman is a high-growth B2B SaaS company helping pharmaceutical companies create compliant marketing & medical content in the fastest and most efficient way possible. Our platform replaces fragmented, agency-dependent content workflows with (self-service) authoring tools deeply integrated into Veeva and Salesforce ecosystems. We work with global pharma companies, including Novartis, Takeda, GSK, and Abbott, and we're scaling fast, with ambitious plans to become the category leader in pharma content excellence. This is a company where you build things that didn't exist before, and where your impact is visible from day one.

The Role

When meeting new prospects and clients, we inform them not only about the benefits of the tech solutions but also about how they work. We demonstrate how the SaaS platform would work in a client´s work environment and interact with other systems, such as Veeva PromoMats. You can imagine that these conversations have a commercial and informative component as well as a component that is mostly focused on the functions and features of the solutions, the technology side of things. In this context, the Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant works in tandem with the Sales person to showcase the capabilities of Shaman´s content authoring solutions. While working in tandem with the salesperson, you are responsible for giving the client or prospect the best impression of Shaman´s technical and organizational capabilities to serve the client's needs.

You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of our platform's functions and features, and how it interacts with Veeva PromoMats and other systems.

Clearly, you have to like software, technology ánd interacting with clients. You need to be able to communicate easily and pleasantly, and be fluent in translating technology into benefits.

More concretely, this means you will run daily remote demonstration sessions with clients on various SaaS solutions and follow up with clients and prospects on technical questions.

You will aim to develop a deep understanding of potential clients' content production workflows to align them with our tech solutions.

What You'll Do

Own the solutions demonstration

  • Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations covering Veeva/Salesforce integration, AI content creation features, and end-to-end content workflows (the user-journeys)

  • Adapt and maintain demo environments to reflect prospect-specific scenarios, data models, and use cases

  • Present complex technical concepts clearly to mixed audiences of business and IT stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain a library of demo environments, documentation, integration guides, and FAQ materials

  • Create reusable technical collateral that accelerates future sales cycles

  • Contribute to internal enablement by training Sales and Customer Support colleagues on technical positioning and objection handling

What You Bring

Developing love for Shaman & Veeva PromoMats

  • Build hands-on experience with Veeva Vault (PromoMats, MedComms) and/or Salesforce, including configuration and integration patterns

  • Familiarity with pharma content production workflows: MLR review cycles, modular content, CLM, and global-to-local adaptation (knock out criteria)

  • Build understanding of AI-assisted content creation tooling and its application in regulated industries

  • Build experience with SaaS platform architecture, APIs, and SSO/identity management

Pre-sales and commercial acumen

  • Min. 3 years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role, ideally within pharma SaaS or a pharma content agency

  • Track record of supporting complex B2B sales cycles with structured technical demonstrations and PoC delivery

  • Comfortable operating in a consultative sales model where trust and expertise are the primary differentiators

Communication and presence

  • Able to engage credibly with both senior decision makers, stakeholders, and hands-on content operations teams

  • Strong written communication skills for RFP responses, technical documentation, and internal knowledge sharing

  • Confident presenting live in remote and on-site settings, including handling unexpected questions without losing momentum

Mindset

  • Self-directed and structured: you manage multiple active deals simultaneously without dropping quality

  • Curious by nature: you stay current on pharma content trends, competitor positioning, and platform evolution

  • Builder instinct: you see gaps in pre-sales tooling as opportunities and take initiative to fix them

Why This Role Matters

Shaman is moving from product-led growth to strategic partnership. Every enterprise deal we pursue involves sophisticated buyers who need technical confidence before they commit. The Pre-Sales Technical Consultant is the person who gives them that confidence, and who ensures Shaman shows up as a credible, capable partner from the very first demo.

If you thrive at the intersection of deep technical knowledge and commercial impact, and you want to play a decisive role in how a high-growth pharma SaaS company wins and retains its most strategic customers, this is the role for you.

Requirements

Who you are
