We are currently searching for a Mainframe support:
Responsibilities:
- Provide L3 mainframe support and development assistance within a global financial environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with development and product teams.
- Assist users across departments, including Operations, Business, and Engineering teams.
- Create automation tools to streamline support processes.
- Draft and maintain detailed documentation of incidents, fixes, and product updates.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with internal and external users, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in full SDLC activities on mainframe platforms.
Requirements:
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe development and support (L2+/L3 readiness).
- Strong knowledge of DB2 and SQL for mainframe data management.
- Proficient in COBOL – debugging and writing code.
- Experience with JCL, CICS, VSAM, and other mainframe tools.
- Familiarity with IBM MQ and its integration in mainframe environments.
- Prior experience supporting clearing businesses or financial trading platforms.
- Understanding of CCP (Central Clearing Party) connectivity and client reporting workflows.
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- High attention to detail with capacity to multitask under pressure.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen related to global markets and financial reporting.
