We are currently searching for a Senior GCP Data Engineer (Data Governance):
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data governance frameworks across cloud-based data platforms.
- Define and enforce data quality rules, including automated validations and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain data architectures such as Data Lakes, Lakehouse, and modern Data Warehouses.
- Manage metadata, technical lineage, and data catalogs to ensure transparency and traceability.
- Implement schema management and data security controls, including data classification and PII handling.
- Build and optimize data pipelines and process automation to support scalable analytics solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience in data governance within enterprise-scale environments.
- Hands-on experience with GCP data services and cloud-based data architectures.
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and transformation.
- Experience with data quality, lineage, and metadata tools (data catalogs, governance platforms).
- Solid understanding of data security and compliance concepts, including PII management.
- Advanced English level (spoken and written).
Desired
- Experience working in hybrid enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with automation and orchestration of data processes.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English.
- Native Spanish.
