IT Project Manager

Job Role

Join our team as Project Manager to provide project management leadership for the implementation and integration of a new business area within Seetec that focuses on business and income generation through the provision of quality business services. This role focuses specifically on supporting workstream leads, senior managers and project sponsors to ensure a successful implementation is delivered on time.

We're building a new future way of working. You'll be in the driving seat for delivering a new user experience and be the springboard for more technology-enabled improvements to our business.

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of stakeholder management and be an excellent communicator and problem solver. You will have the ability to initiate and implement effective strategies with clear goals and make clear, informed, appropriate and timely decisions. We're also looking for experience in demergers.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary range £46,550 - £58,175 p.a. (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Location: Remote Working

Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 5pm, Friday 8:30 am to 4:30pm
Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract

Closing Date: 5th June 2024

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the project to time, cost and scope requirements.
• Develop strong and cooperative relationships.
• Lead the project team by ensuring that project tasks are in line with project sponsor and contractual requirements
• Establish project schedules and govern external vendors and technical resources.
• Monitor and provide accurate, timely information and reports on Workstream status, activities and performance throughout the lifetime of the project
• Recommend changes and improvements
• Ensures quality of projects by utilisation of proven project methodology and adheres to Prince2/Agile

Skills and Experience

• APM/Prince 2 qualification
• 5 years’ plus experience as a Project Manager with a proven track record of IT infrastructure projects
• A successful track record in managing budgets and programmes of projects
• Proven experience of working with senior managers and interpreting and translating their strategic plans into PM specifications using extensive knowledge of specialist areas.
