The Accountant will work with our Accounting Team on critical financial functions, maintaining records, and developing our accounting systems and procedures, with a focus on accounts receivable.

Requirements
Essential Functions

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This is a remote role, but if the candidate hired is local to Philadelphia or Rochester, we would expect presence in the office 1-2 days per week.
Required Education and Experience
- Punctuality and timely attendance to external client and internal stakeholder needs.
- 1-2 years general accounting experience within a business environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Sage Intacct a plus.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Residence in Eastern time zone preferred.
- Highly detail oriented.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize competing tasks and projects.
- Able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to think critically and problem solve effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
