The Promoter Operations Specialist plays a critical role in delivering exceptional support for key artist, promoter, and agency clients. This role provides expertise on relevant SeatGeek products and services, facilitating tour wide success by educating and advising promoters, agents, and artists and ensuring their tour goals and specifications are carried out across the SeatGeek org.
The role supports the Promoter Operations Principle acting as an operational advocate of the promoter within SeatGeek, representing their interests, assisting with best practice decisions on their behalf, and working within SeatGeek to meet/exceed the established goals for the tour/promoter.
What you'll do
- Operational ownership of artist promoter satisfaction and success.
- Specialise in the unique needs of our promoter and artist clients
- Become a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the application of our technology to the Entertainment vertical
- Develop strong, consultative relationships with key promoters, agents and managers, along with their respective ticketing staff
- Utilize those consultative relationships to field questions and best practice advice from promoters
- Work collaboratively with the Client Services team to ensure alignment across Entertainment operations
- Work closely with clients, promoters and other relevant third parties to introduce and educate them on various SeatGeek programs/tools that affect tour performance, such as, but not limited to: VIP, Prime, Seat Level Pricing, Hybrid BA, Amplify and Reporting
- Partner with Enablement, Solution Architecture, Implementation and Product Support to enhance understanding of the Entertainment space. Informing training materials and best practices
- Work with clients and our Client Success Managers to establish goals for each tour project, communicate them internally, and monitor progress towards those goals
- Assist the Promoter Operations Principle in operations and communications around high profile on-sales
What you have
- 3+ years Music Entertainment industry experience in ticketing operations, preferably working with large, reserved seating venues or national/global tours
- Existing relationships with key promoters, artist managers and agents preferred
- Previous mastery of ticketing software required
- Self-starting mentality, with a bias toward action and execution
- Proactive problem solving skills, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
- Ability to think through, evaluate and solve problems logically and efficiently
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work on cross-departmental projects
- Must conduct all matters and communications in a professional and courteous manner as a representative of the company
- Ability to travel as needed

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
