About the RoleThe Scorpion sales team is looking for a creative, coachable, curious, and gritty individual to join as an Sales Account Executive.
This will include closing net-new business by articulating the Scorpion platform value proposition to business owners and executives, demoing our platform, and managing a healthy pipeline. Measures of success include revenue delivered vs. targets, outbound and inbound prospecting activities, client satisfaction, and contribution to the overall sales team.
What your success will look like
- Expert experience within the home service industry
- 3 weeks of Scorpion training with our sales enablement and training team + continued education
- Ramped to full quota within 3 months from your start date
- Create and execute quarterly business plans that result in hitting monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Use Salesforce to complete and report 50-70 daily outbound activities
- Use an internal playbook to manage the entire sales lifecycle
- Create meaningful business relationships with prospects, clients, and your Scorpion colleagues
- Use the various training platforms to continuously grow your knowledge of our product, sales, and process
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the assigned vertical industry
- Meet assigned sales Quota
- Conduct an assigned number of product presentations to the client per week
- Conduct an assigned number of sales proposals delivered per week
Who you are and what you bring
- 4+ years of sales experience, specifically selling in digital media, marketing, home services
- Experience working with local and small businesses
- Scorpion's Tools and Technology Stack: Salesforce (CRM), Seismic (sales enablement tool), Chili Piper (scheduling tool to set appointments), and Spiff (platform to track sales commissions), CanIRank, Zoom
- Consistent over-achievement of quota while working in a remote environment
- Technically adept, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Ability to accurately forecast based on realistic opportunity assessments
- Ensure 100% customer satisfaction with all respective customers.

Compensation
- We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
- The base salary is $60,000 (entry-level) - 79,000 (highly experienced). This position's base salary + annual variable is $115,000 (entry-level) - $130,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary + annual variable range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
