We help the world run better at SAP. The Student Training and Rotation (STAR) Program offers university students hands-on industry experience at SAP, the world’s leading software provider. As part of a global program across 14 countries, STAR students work on real business projects and develop professional skills.
Requirements
- Expected to graduate in Feb. 2027, Aug. 2027, or Feb. 2028
- Course work in Database (Fluency in SQL is a plus)
- Experience in one or more programming languages (e.g. C++, Python etc.)
- Solid understanding of AI fundamentals, RAG (vector, graph) concepts and MCP servers
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and coding agents
- Experience developing AI applications / agents is a plus
- Intermediate communication skills in English (Fluent is a plus)
- Curious and agile mindset, with openness to learning, adaptability in a fast‐changing environment, and willingness to explore new approaches
- Strong problem‐solving and creative‐thinking skills, including the ability to break down complex issues, collaborate effectively across teams, and communicate ideas clearly
- High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness, supporting inclusive teamwork, constructive collaboration, and thoughtful stakeholder engagement
- Growing foundation in business acumen and emerging technologies — especially artificial intelligence, paired with a proactive, results‐driven mindset and readiness to take initiative
