Role and Responsibilities

This role will focus on leading the NECO sales team selling both Samsung & Dacor appliance products. This role will drive hyper growth of Samsung & Dacor through partnership, collaboration and development of the NECO channel at both the dealer and group level. The candidate selected for this role will be responsible for exceeding annual and quarterly sales targets, driving balance of share growth within NECO, and supporting and developing their team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Alignment: Develop and implement overarching sales strategies that align with business objectives and goals for both Dacor & Samsung brands. Creation and delivery of Executive level presentations.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Provide mentorship, coaching fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Recruit, train, and develop high performing sales team’s members.

  • Relationship Management & Business Development: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key retailers to drive sales growth and expand markets with both brands.

  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Analyze data, market trends, and customer feedback to evaluate effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas of improvement. Implement sales forecasting models and measure performance vs. goals. Collaborate with cross functioning teams.

  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand representation and messaging across all sales teams. Monitor compliance and execution with brand needs and guidelines. Serve as a liaison between leadership and internal teams to cultivate success.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a sales leadership role in the Consumer Electronics/ Appliance industry where negotiation and influencing, data analysis and insights, cross functional collaboration, customer relationship management, risk management, leadership, and strategic networking

  • 30-40% travel required in the Northeast region (as far south as Virginia and as far west to Ohio and up to Maine and northeast corridor)

  • Previous experience where leadership and management experience, strategic planning and business development, decision making, adaptability and innovative, ability to implement change, and creativity were critical to driving results

  • Previous experience with NECO or similar buying group strongly preferred

  • Previous Executive level presentation experience required

  • Technical aptitude to learn proprietary systems and advanced PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables and V look ups) skills

  • Advanced project management experience and goal orientation to include organizing timelines and execution of timelines

The salary range for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, and actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role. However, the salary ranges in the following regions are expected to be as follows:

  • NYC: $169,000-$189,500
