The Production Technology team are curious thinkers and collaborative problem-solvers. We work closely with Production Operations and Publishing Process Management to deliver smart, scalable content workflows. Our culture is built on excellence, continuous improvement, and a shared dedication to delivering high-impact solutions that scale.

Could you be our new Senior Manager, Content Operations? Are you?

  • Experienced with metadata standards like JATS XML, DOIs, MARC 21, and familiar with publishing platforms and content systems.
  • Skilled in using data and dashboards to guide decisions and improve workflows.
  • Passionate about process improvement, technology adoption, and scaling operations in publishing or content environments.
  • A supportive team leader who builds trust and collaborates across functions.
  • Confident in leading complex projects from planning to delivery with care and clarity.
  • A thoughtful communicator who can make technical concepts accessible to all.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and motivated to solve challenges with creativity.
  • A good communicator and influencer, capable of encouraging relationships with stakeholders and global teams.
  • Analytical, diligent, dynamic with a pragmatic problem-solving attitude.

Your new role:

You’ll lead a dedicated team and shape how we deliver content at scale. You’ll drive innovation, streamline workflows, and ensure our operations align with strategic goals. This is a hands-on leadership role where your ideas and influence will make a real impact.

  • Design inclusive and scalable content delivery frameworks that support evolving product needs
  • Build a team culture rooted in trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Align team goals with broader business priorities through clear, measurable OKRs
  • Use data and insights to advise decisions and unlock opportunities for workflow and technology enhancements
  • Streamline processes and introduce tools that make work more efficient and empowering
  • Lead key initiatives from archive transitions to tech upgrades with transparency and care
  • Strengthen relationships with external partners to improve metadata and discoverability
  • Foster alignment across Product, Technology, and Operations through open communication and shared goals
  • Champion emerging technologies and inclusive guidelines across teams
  • Ensure compliance and proactively manage risk with integrity and attention to detail
