A Brief Overview

The Manager, Physical Security Program will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the physical security needs and programs across our organization. This role plays a vital role in protecting our company's personnel, assets, facilities, and reputation while ensuring alignment with business, regulatory, and compliance requirements. The position will collaborate cross-functionally and provide physical security expertise and recommendations.

What You Will Do:

  • Program Management - Work in partnership with Real Estate, Design, People Team, Legal, IT, and other relevant functions to develop and implement a comprehensive physical security model and program. Define physical security standards and policies ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and business requirements

  • Partner with field leaders to meet with stores, identify their needs, conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for solutions to mitigate risk and safety concerns.

  • Access and Security Systems Management - Oversee the design, installation, maintenance, and monitoring of physical security systems (i.e., badge readers, camera systems) and other relevant systems, measures, and programs in alignment with security standards along with business priorities and needs

  • Lead, coach and develop Physical Security team

  • Contract and Vendor Management – working with procurement, drive value with effective contract management for security and access services. Build strong partnerships with our security providers and leverage their expertise and insights.

  • Compliance - Ensure compliance with relevant safety and security regulations, along with business and client requirements

  • Security and Risk Advisory - be the physical security subject matter expert by providing consulting and advice to internal stakeholders regarding various aspects of workplace security issues including, but not limited to, access and technology

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience required

  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of physical security systems (i.e. CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion) and other security-related systems required

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders

  • Proven ability to lead, develop, motivate others, manage, and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external organizations/partners

  • Strong knowledge of security risk and threat assessments

  • Excellent teamwork, leadership, relationship building, mentoring, training and project management experience and skills

  • Ability to work comfortably within a fast-paced and matrixed organization

  • Possesses excellent analytical skills and ability to apply sound judgment in problem solving, evaluating courses of action, and making decisions on complex security matters

  • Ability to travel ~30% of the time
