Sr. Web Engineer

QAD is looking for a Senior Web Engineer to join their team, working remotely from Spain. The role involves developing and enhancing user experience with AI workflows, leveraging the latest Web technologies, and participating in forums to explore interests outside of the sprint work. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Web Development experience, including 3+ years of Vue, and strong commitment to quality with hands-on experience writing unit testing and end-to-end testing.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in the modern Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue 3 and the Composition API.
• Deep familiarity with Vite as a primary build tool and development server.
• Proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable and type-safe applications.
• Deep expertise in Vue core Libraries like Pinia stores and Vue Router
• Skilled in creating responsive, modern UIs with Tailwind CSS based on Figma designs
• Strong commitment to quality, with hands-on experience writing unit testing and end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with Trunk-Based Development, Continuous Delivery, and using tools like LaunchDarkly for feature flagging.
• Strong knowledge about Vue.js and Typescript ecosystem and libraries
• Docker
• Experience using Mock Service Worker (MSW) for robust API mocking during development.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with front-end monitoring tools, specifically Datadog RUM.
• Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) Systems Architectures
• Generating endpoints and models from OAS
• Experience using agentic ai tools (e.g Claude code, Copilot) to speed up delivery
