Job Purpose
The Payroll Analyst reports to The Regional Senior Payroll Manager (SPM)/Regional Payroll Manager (PM) and is responsible for supporting the team processing payrolls in specific countries within a designated region. This role ensures accurate, timely and compliant payroll processing while driving operational excellence and alignment to the RWS Global Payroll standard. The Payroll Analyst collaborates with HR, Finance and external vendors to address payroll needs, maintain regulatory compliance and provide a positive payroll experience for employees.

Job Overview
Technical Responsibilities
- Support the team processing payroll for specific countries, as designated by the SPM/PM, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and address any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll laws and regulations, including federal, state and local tax laws.
- Ensure adherence to payroll processes and procedures that align to the RWS Global Payroll standard.
- Assist team with audit requirements, internally and with third-party providers and ensure compliance with corporate policies, tax requirements and statutory regulations.
- Support the rollout and ensure ongoing compliance with the global payroll strategy.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to optimise payroll operations.
- Document payroll procedures and contribute to developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
- Resolve straight forward payroll issues promptly, providing information and explanations to employees as needed.
- Assist with providing payroll data to HR and finance.
- Support team with checking payroll impacting changes within D365 to ensure reliable payroll processing.

Qualifications/Experience
- Experience of processing payroll, ideally in-house and with third-party providers
- Experience of working with various HR and Payroll systems.
- Understanding of payroll compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
