Associate Translator

Job Purpose

RWS Chile is seeking Spanish-ESLA linguists to join our international in-house team and build a long-term working relationship by joining us in delivering high quality translations for well-known multinationals.

We are recruiting linguists for the following subject matter field: Life Sciences;+2 years of experience is needed. CV must show the requested experience in Life Sciences.

If you think of yourself as someone with experience in the Life Science translation industry, strong communication and who is committed to using your know-how to contribute to the client’s success, this opportunity is tailored to you. Together with your team members you will get the chance to manage your own projects and be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality on time and within budget.

Location: Home-based. Candidate must be located in Chile (mandatory).

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Translation and review of texts with CAT tools (especially Trados Studio)
• Post-editing of machine translated texts
• Layout check of translated documents
• Quality and terminology management
• Assistance with mentoring our interns or junior translators
