What You Will Do:

We are looking for an OEM Field Support Manager (FSM) located near Little Rock, Arkansas. The FSM will manage key relationships with a strategic OEM customer located in Little Rock. They'll be a primary liaison and brand ambassador between the assigned customer base and P&W Canada providing technical and commercial support.

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced professional with strong technical skills in aviation maintenance. The FSM will be a key point of contact for a strategic customer in the area, so you will also need to have strong customer service/customer relation skills and be comfortable working with competing priorities. The regular hours for this role will be Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Additionally, there will be times where after hours and/or weekend coverage is needed to support the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Support at P&WC consists of all the activities associated to the successful management of key customers in the assigned region, including technical, commercial and/or logistical support requirements.

More specifically, in this role you may:

  • Act as a single point of contact for the strategic customers in the region.

  • Act as a liaison between the customer base and other areas of the business.

  • Own, maintain and drive resolutions to engine-related “aircraft-on-ground” situations.

  • Support regional technical/commercial reviews and senior management meetings with the customer base.

  • Support other P&WC business units that manage customer accounts and events within the region.

  • Support Entry-into-Service (EIS) activities.

  • Provide input on new contract proposals for customers within the assigned region.

  • Help to define strategies to drive service level improvements.

  • Collect engine operational data and provide first line feedback to P&WC Program groups of operating problems, customer perceptions and needs.

  • Provide on-site assistance and solutions for all technical, commercial, and operational problems encountered, working in partnership with the appropriate departments within P&WC.

  • Visit and cultivate relationships with key customers in the assigned region through routine contact.

  • Provide back-up support for customers in other adjoining regions, as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • An Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 7 years of aerospace experience in MRO management, customer account management, and/or aerospace technical experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience,OR in lieu of a degree a minimum of 14 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Active US Driver’s License and Passport.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • 10+ years direct customer-facing experience.

  • Previous experience in aviation maintenance, field services, engineering, or other relevant technical positions within the aerospace industry.

  • Demonstrated leadership in customer account management and capable of communicating at all levels within an organization.

  • Proficient technical knowledge of P&WC’s engine portfolio.

  • Computer Systems: CRM; SAP; Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.

Additional Information:

This position requires frequent travel to visit customers in the assigned region and may require travel on weekends, holidays, and/or afterhours.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
