Williams Lea by RRD is hiring for an Accounts Payable/Expense Associate.

  • Utilize appropriate logs and/or tracking software for all-expense processing work

  • Thoroughly assess job request and ensure appropriate completion of job tasks throughout task lifecycle

  • Create, process, and/or audit expense reimbursement requests by ensuring the proper documentation and approvals are submitted/received

  • Complete data entry to appropriate expense processing software, as needed; may include adding accounts, vouchers, requests, general ledger numbers and/or obtaining correct documentation and/or approvals

  • Review requests for compliance with policies and/or procedures; escalate concerns to supervisor

  • Use established procedures, standards, and formats to complete expense processing requests to client satisfaction

  • Demonstrate proficiency in using equipment/technology/software and hardware necessary to perform job functions

  • Communicate with team members, lead, supervisor or client on job or deadline concerns

  • Meet contracted deadlines for service delivery to our clients

  • Troubleshoot basic software or hardware problems

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or advanced degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of related financial experience in a professional services organization; experience in legal, banking, or large corporate environments preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of financial systems such as Aderant Expert, Chrome River, Elite, Concur, or other comparable systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and spreadsheet software applications required.
  • Proven customer service skills to create, maintain, and enhance client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials/documents.
  • Strong attention to detail, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when working with immediate deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Customer service experience.

The rate of pay for this role at the noted RRD location is $18.11/ hour. Typically, roles follow step
progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly
rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift
differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay. RRD’s benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision
coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other
voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance

and employer/partner discounts.

The story of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company (RRD) begins in 1864 in Chicago, Illinois, when Richard Robert Donnelley, a Canadian immigrant, established a modest print shop. This venture, initially known as Church, Goodman, and Donnelley—Steam Printers, laid the groundwork for what would become a global leader in communications. Despite the devastating Great Chicago Fire of 1871, which destroyed the burgeoning business, Donnelley's resilience shone through. He famously borrowed a small sum to travel to New York, where his reputation and vision secured him new presses entirely on credit, allowing him to rebuild and restart his operations within two years. Throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries, RRD steadily grew, driven by Richard Robert Donnelley's meticulous attention to both the artistic and scientific aspects of printing. In 1890, the firm was officially incorporated as R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company under the leadership of Richard's son, Thomas E. Donnelley. The 20th century saw RRD adapt to new media, printing iconic magazines like Time, starting in 1928.
