Job Description

The Payroll and Benefits Administrator is responsible for overseeing payroll operations and benefits administration across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless coordination. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to optimize processes, resolve inquiries, and drive efficiency. This role offers an opportunity to lead cross-functional projects and contribute to strategic initiatives in a dynamic global environment. You'll manage payroll operations and benefits administration for NORAM and EMEA regions, gaining exposure to global processes and expanding your regulatory knowledge. Collaborating closely with other teams, you'll resolve discrepancies and support organizational initiatives, fostering cross-functional teamwork. Additionally, you'll enhance your technical proficiency by gaining experience with HRIS systems, leading special projects, optimizing workflows, and driving successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process for employees across multiple regions (including NORAM and EMEA), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with local payroll providers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and processing of payroll across various countries, considering diverse regulatory frameworks, currencies, and tax requirements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and other departments to address payroll-related inquiries, resolve payroll discrepancies, and support organizational initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring activities.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management, contributing expertise in payroll and benefits management.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in NORAM payroll and benefits administration
  • Demonstrated ability to manage special projects and initiatives related to payroll, benefits, and HR processes, contributing expertise and leadership to drive successful outcomes.
  • Familiarity with payroll and human resources information systems (HRIS) to streamline processes, automate workflows, and optimize efficiency in payroll and benefits administration.
  • Knowledge and experience navigating diverse regulatory frameworks, currencies, tax requirements, and labor standards in various jurisdictions.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex payroll and benefits data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize processes and enhance cost-effectiveness.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Office with strength in Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, finance, accounting, or similar programs
  • Experience in EMEA global payroll and benefits administration
  • CPP or CBP Certification
  • Proficiency in Ceridian Dayforce
