Your Mission: SEO PM

As the SEO PM, you'll be expected to oversee the planning, execution, and success of search engine optimization projects. You will be responsible for coordinating between various teams—like content, web development, and marketing—to improve a website's visibility in search engine results.

This role involves PM'ing SEO strategies, managing timelines and budgets, and analyzing performance data to ensure goals are met. Essentially, they bridge the technical and marketing aspects of SEO to enhance a website's ranking, drive organic traffic, and achieve business objectives.

This position reports directly to the SEO Team Lead and Senior Project Manager at Regex SEO. It's also crucial for the SEO Project Manager to fully grasp the goals and objectives of the SEO team. Understanding these allows for effective prioritization and management of projects, ensuring alignment with the team's overall strategy and business objectives.

Identify and assess barriers 🔎

• Understand today's process to create new, more efficient ones.
• Decide if a barrier is to become a project.

Project initiation 📑

• Define project scope.
• Define SEO Team members' involvement.
• Communication matrix.

Project planning 💡

• Assign tasks within the project.
• Organize and lead meetings, collaboration time, and problem-solving sessions within the SEO Team.

Monitor project progress 📊

• Create templates and documents to facilitate communication and documentation.
• Train the SEO Team around the use of templates and guidelines
• Follow up on task completion.
• Communicate project status.

Monitor project execution 🦾

• Work with the team lead to create and implement guidelines.
• Work with team lead through decision-making.
• Work with team lead to identify communication, workload, and team-building solutions.
• Work with team members to ensure tasks are completed.
• Cross-collaborate with other departments.
• Ensure project implementation is successful
• Work with team members to create workshops for training over new guidelines or procedures.

Monitor project effectiveness 📈

• Measure project impact on clients KPI’s.
• Evaluate and adjust the project.

•Intimate knowledge and hands-on experience with implementing new processes within Digital Marketing and Development teams.

• Hands-on experience with continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment and growing company.

• Hands-on experienceidentifying barriers and providing that will impact clients’ and teams’ KPIs positively in the short run.

• Hands-on experiencemeasuring, evaluating, and adjusting processes to achieve goals on time.

• Hands-on experience guiding and collaborating with different personality types.

• Hands on experience in SEO/Development Project Management

• Agency experience with multi-client project management requirements preferred
