The Restaurant Recruiter is a marketing forward position ideal for someone with a marketing, communications, or a sourcing data analytics background who understands the fundamentals of Recruitment marketing and enjoys attracting talent and building sustainable regional talent pipelines. This recruiter supports a defined geographic region and helps hire great leaders for five of our restaurant management roles (MP, AGM, KM, Service, Shift, Associate Managers). This recruiter manages a steady flow of 10–20 active, high-volume, low-complexity requisitions and partners closely with restaurant leadership to keep hiring moving smoothly. Along the way, they help support internal promotions, maintain healthy pipelines, and pitch in on team projects that strengthen how we hire. This role is a hands-on recruiter position designed for someone who loves building relationships, staying organized, and helping great people find their next home at Red Robin.
Essential Functions of the Job
Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for restaurant management roles within a region. 40%
Source, screen, interview, recommend, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
Conduct intake meetings, manage candidate workflow, negotiate offers, and ensure readiness for onboarding.
Build strong regional partnerships and coach restaurant leaders on hiring capability. 25%
Partner with Market Partners and Managing Partners to improve interviewing, selection, internal promotions, and candidate experience.
Provide insights on market trends and hiring best practices.
Develop and maintain proactive, diverse talent pipelines. 10%
Create sourcing strategies for all five management roles, maintain pipelines, and build local partnerships with schools, workforce organizations, and community groups.
Participate in cross-functional Talent Acquisition projects. 10%
Contribute to systems improvements, automation, technology pilots, national partnerships, and process optimization efforts.
Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum Experience &
Education
A minimum of 1 year Recruiting experience (or) a minimum of 3 years’ combined education and experience in a related field.
Minimum Required Competencies
Minimum of 1 years of high-volume Recruiting focused experience ideally within hospitality or retail industries.
Experience in recruiting, marketing, sales, hospitality, or other roles requiring proactive outreach and relationship building.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage high contact volume, multiple priorities, engage stakeholders and drive accountability.
Proven capability to prioritize and adapt to changing needs through effective organization, time management, and resource utilization, resulting in the consistent and successful completion of projects and assignments.
Proficient in using creative recruiting techniques to attract both passive and active candidates from diverse organizations and networks.
Experienced in recruiting from various
Familiarity with complex HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
Other Preferred Competencies
Preferred competencies in marketing, communications, community outreach, or customer-facing roles is a strong plus.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in managing high-volume recruitment activities.
Exhibits an outgoing, calm, focused attitude, demonstrating a results-oriented, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial approach.
Preferred previous experience with recruiting in a nationwide, fast-paced hospitality market.
Proficiency with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday, Landed, Harri, or similar), sourcing platforms, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
