We are Recite Me, and we believe in a digital world that is accessible to everyone. Our journey began in 2009 from a small office in Gateshead, England, with a team of just four. It was born from a personal experience with dyslexia, which highlighted the limitations of traditional assistive technology. Our founder, Ross Linnett, realized that such technology was often confined to a single device, failing to provide a holistic solution in an increasingly multi-device world. This realization sparked the creation of our cloud-based assistive toolbar, a solution designed to empower website visitors by allowing them to customize a site to their own specific needs. We're passionate about breaking down the barriers that many people face online, ensuring that individuals with disabilities, learning difficulties, visual impairments, or those who speak English as a second language can navigate the internet with ease and independence.

Our mission is centered around creating inclusive online experiences. We achieve this through our innovative suite of on-demand accessibility tools. The Recite Me assistive toolbar is our flagship product, enabling users to personalize their web experience with features like text-to-speech, translation into over 100 languages, and customizable styling options for fonts and colors. We also developed the Recite Me Accessibility Checker, a tool that scans websites for compliance issues and provides actionable feedback to help businesses improve their accessibility score.
