Basis: Permanent; full-time, part-time or flexible.

The role
The Raspberry Pi Foundation’s work is entering an exciting phase as we look to further expand Experience AI globally through a network of mission-aligned partners. Developed in collaboration with Google DeepMind, Experience AI is a set of world-leading resources designed to help teachers and students understand artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
Reporting to the Director of Global Partnerships, the Senior Global Partnerships Manager will lead the expansion of Experience AI through a global network of partners. You will have proven experience establishing and growing international partnerships, ideally in an education setting, and the ability to effectively manage a diverse team across multiple geographies. You will be confident building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders, capable of managing multiple competing strands of work and financially literate with a track record of managing large grant-making processes. You will be an excellent manager with experience of building and mentoring a high performing team.
You don’t need to be an expert in AI, computing, or digital making, but you do need to bring a passion for our mission and a willingness to learn.
We work hard to make sure that the Foundation is a place where everyone is supported to do the best work of their careers. We have a flexible and collaborative approach to all aspects of our work. If you're the right person for the job, we’ll make it work for you, and you can be confident that you’ll be joining an exceptional team of people who care about our mission and each other.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the Experience AI partnership strategy and approach to long-term sustainability, working in collaboration with the Director of Global Partnerships.
- Oversee the identification and assessment of potential Experience AI partners globally. Ensure that partnerships are mission-aligned and maximise impact for underserved and educationally disadvantaged young people and communities.
- Lead Experience AI partnerships through a team of Global Partnership Managers, ensuring agreed outcomes are delivered to a high standard.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of our work, identifying and correcting challenges that are impacting our ability to meet outcomes in both the short and long term.
- Oversee the process of awarding grants to partner organisations including due diligence and contracting. Manage large budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated to priorities and we follow best practice in grant management.
- Ensure the development and improvement of Experience AI systems and processes, maintaining quality as the program grows.
- Lead, manage and mentor a high-performing team. Provide guidance and support to teams in core markets to expand Experience AI in their country.
- Develop, maintain and leverage effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, building trust and confidently navigating challenges.

- Confidently represent Experience AI at relevant external events and meetings, raising the programme's global profile and presence.
Experience and personal attributes
We recognise that everyone has the potential for growth. We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate that they have some, but not necessarily all, of the experience and personal attributes listed here.
- Experience of developing and leading international partnerships in education settings, ideally involving digital skills, computing, or digital making.
- Substantial programme management experience, including managing successful delivery of complex initiatives at scale.
- Experience of grant management processes and understanding of best practice.
- Experienced leader with the ability to build diverse teams, support them to do great work, and manage cross team collaboration. Ideally, you will have experience of managing remote teams in different geographies.
- A collaborative, flexible, and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and complexity both internally and externally.
- Excellent verbal communication skills; you should be capable of presenting effectively and representing Experience AI’s unique benefits to audiences including senior stakeholders.
- Strong data and analytical skills, and the ability to use data effectively to improve and strengthen our approach to partnerships as the programme grows.
- Interest and knowledge of the AI landscape, particularly in education, with a demonstrable ability to develop new skills.
- A commitment to the Foundation's mission and values, including on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
About us
The Raspberry Pi Foundation is an independent charity with a global mission to enable all young people to realise their full potential through the power of computing and digital technologies.
We empower schools to teach computer science and AI literacy through free curricula, classroom resources, purpose built software tools, and professional development for teachers. We inspire young people to become tech creators through the world's largest networks of coding clubs. We undertake original research that informs our work and which we use to advance the field of computer science education more broadly.
All of our resources and learning experiences are available for anyone to use at no cost. We are particularly focused on creating opportunities for young people who experience educational disadvantage and those who come from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in technology industries.
Over the past decade, we have supported hundreds of thousands of educators and tens of millions of students. We have teams in six countries (India, Ireland, Kenya, South Africa, the UK and US) and partnerships with mission-aligned non-profit organisations in over 60 countries.
We are at the forefront of the global educational movement to expand access to computer science education and AI literacy. You can learn more about our work in our latest Annual Report.
