United States onlyThe Raspberry Pi Foundation is looking for an experienced leader to join the learning team as Director of Research and Impact. The role involves leading the development of research and impact evaluation strategies, working with academics, and representing the Foundation externally. The ideal candidate has significant experience in leading research and impact evaluation in K12 education, a relevant postgraduate qualification, and a deep understanding of research methodologies.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading research and / or impact evaluation in K12 education, ideally with a focus on computer science or STEM.
- A relevant post graduate qualification.
- A deep understanding of broad range of research and evaluation methodologies in the context of education.
- A clear commitment to ethical research practice when working with schools and young people.
- A proven track record of translating research into practice.
- Confident working with stakeholders from different backgrounds, including academic researchers, learning experience designers, digital product teams, policy makers, and practitioners.
- An outstanding communicator able to communicate complex ideas effectively to different audiences and in different cultural contexts.
- Experience leading and managing teams, including cross-functional or cross-cultural projects in education or the nonprofit sector.
- A collaborative, open, and supportive leadership style, with a focus on mentoring colleagues at all levels and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Experience building and managing effective partnerships with academic institutions or research organisations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively across teams and geographies.
