About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the next evolution of Qventus's products. This role involves enhancing our data processing and analytics capabilities with a strong focus on healthcare operational efficiency. You will work closely with our Founders and engineering team to develop innovative solutions that impact patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build new API integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams, to address data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

  • Implement systems for tracking data quality and consistency, ensuring maximum accuracy and reliability for critical decision-making.

  • Work closely with our Founders and other engineers to shape the vision and execution of Qventus's next-generation products.

  • Innovate and implement advanced data methodologies to solve challenging healthcare operational problems.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong foundation in software engineering principles.

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with cloud services such as AWS.

  • Expertise in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing, with hands-on experience using DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and Looker for data visualization and analytics.

  • Direct experience with EMR systems, ideally including Epic, Cerner, and AthenaHealth, with a focus on notes data. Knowledge of integrating and managing data from these and other healthcare platforms.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in working with various kinds of data sources, demonstrating a keen ability to leverage a wide range of technologies and tools to solve complex data challenges.

  • Strong analytical skills and the excitement to work in a collaborative environment, particularly in partnership with our Founders and engineering team to leverage technology for innovative healthcare solutions.

  • English fluency is required as you will be communicating with global teams and stakeholders.

It’s a Plus if You Have:

  • Advanced knowledge in cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and data science principles.

  • Experience in healthcare data privacy and security standards.
