It is a very exciting time of growth for our Go-To-Market salesteam, and we are currently hiring an Account Executive (AE) to strategically position Microsoft solutions within the commercial sector. This role can be located anywhere in the United States.

What will my role be?

As an AE, you will work closely with both the Quisitive team and regional Microsoft representatives to position and deploy technology-driven business solutions and services to our commercial customers. Major duties include cross-selling services and solutions and growing existing accounts, acquiring new accounts, and providing superior customer service and support. Duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing an effective business development strategy and leading the acquisition of strategic customers; strategizing and executing account/territory development plans to achieve annual quotas
  • Identifying and qualifying prospective customers through personally established business contacts; direct-selling and researching Microsoft-aligned strategic accounts in your assigned account base; and follow through on Quisitive-generated marketing leads
  • Establishing and expanding the Quisitive brand throughout the business community; positioning yourself as a trusted partner and advisor to your customers with the goal of favorably positioning Quisitive’s value proposition(s) against competitors
  • Managing your sales process; includes guiding Quisitive's technical pre-sales resources and Microsoft solution experts to effectively present solutions that improve a customer's business performance and help them achieve their goals
  • Leading RFP responses, proposal development, sales presentations, and final contract negotiations
  • Developing and leveraging Quisitive's Microsoft field sales partnership in the region to establish a joint sales strategy with the Microsoft team
  • Supporting customer-facing marketing events
  • Developing and maintaining a high-level understanding of Quisitive solution service offerings
  • Keeping abreast of Microsoft solutions and industry/market trends

What’s required?

  • First and foremost, you should enjoy the pursuit, be competitive and have a positive attitude! Good interpersonal skills, strong self-motivation, focus and passion for selling strategic IT services are critical to this role. Being a team player, but also independent and tenacious will be important to your success.
  • 5+ years' sales experience selling commercial solutions and services in the Microsoft space
  • Established business contacts in the commercial space
  • Ability to react strategically in customer settings, "listen" and discern client business needs
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to develop a plan to meet and exceed assigned sales quotas
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Credible and professional presence; ability to lead and participate in conversations with customer senior leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or industry-related field

  • Previous experience selling for a leading Microsoft Systems Integrator (SI)
  • Microsoft Field Sales team relationships; Microsoft Corporate business relationships
