Position Overview
Power your future with Qualus as a Project Coordinator in our Program Management department! The Project Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of various activities to ensure the successful completion of power delivery projects. This includes tracking and reporting of stage gates, project updates, and coordination of subcontractors and project materials/logistics. The Project Coordinator may work independently and will support Project Managers on assignments to specific client projects.
Responsibilities
- Supports Project Managers, Operations Leaders, and others Team Leaders with monitoring and controls of project scope, schedule, and budget plans
- Tracks and reports project updates in conjunction with stage gate process, providing updates as needed
- Performs and/or supports project resource planning and scheduling as needed
- Supports and assists in the contract management process
- Ensures thorough and accurate project closeout
- Assists in the change order process and submittal and communicates status
- Process customer PO’s as directed ensuring alignment of scope expectations
- Coordinates material procurement and generates purchase orders. Confirms material orders and pricing meets with purchase requisitions
- Provides support in tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools (may include working with and coordinating subcontractors)
- Monitor and report project status to Project Managers, Directors, Account Managers and other stakeholders as required
- Provides AR & AP support and monthly invoicing review
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent degree; minimum of 2 years of experience OR Associates degree; minimum of 4 years of experience OR High school diploma; minimum of 6 years of experience
- Experience in Project coordination, budget/accounting coordination, financial management, tracking & analysis, analysis and application of operational reports
- Experience in project management and/or operations management, or related industry experience
- Experience working in Project Management applications and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, Deltek)
- Proficient with MS Office tools (Work, Excel, Outlook) and ability to manage and analyze large quantities of data
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Experience with subcontractor management and/or procurement, technical projects and/or field construction operations
- Experience with conflict management, risk management and change management

The expected compensation range for this position is based upon several factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, prior relevant work experience and work location.
