Purposeful Ventures

Purposeful Ventures is a UK-registered charity that partners with social entrepreneurs and philanthropists to improve the education and well-being of young people from their earliest years. Founded as a specialist ventures organisation, they select, accelerate, and where a gap exists, incubate organisations which tackle particular issues affecting children and young people. Together with their partners, they test and scale effective solutions while working to influence systemic change in education and child welfare.

The organisation operates across three main portfolios: Children & Families, Maths, and Music & Arts. Their Children & Families portfolio focuses on early years provision, children's wellbeing, and supporting vulnerable children and families. The Maths portfolio aims to transform maths education in England, including supporting the UK's first specialist Maths Secondary School opening in 2026. Purposeful Ventures provides bespoke advisory services to philanthropists, identifies investment opportunities, and offers fully individualised support to social ventures including access to funding and a high-challenge, high-support environment to help turn great ideas into sustainable organisations.
