The Products team is responsible for driving Propel's product strategy and roadmap, including understanding the market, working with customers to prioritize capabilities, creating user stories, and managing the release of new features and bug resolution.
Propel is looking for a technical Product Manager to help mature our products and define capabilities around our platform and integrations. The Product Manager will identify potential solutions and features, generate product requirements, and prioritize and deliver releases. The Product Manager will also be responsible for coordinating delivery of releases across all of Propel solutions.
In this role you can expect to:
Deliver new capabilities for Propel's platform, integrations and APIs that increase new product revenue, create market differentiation, and improve customer satisfaction
Gather customer feedback, prioritize requirements and enhancements, create user stories, and deliver new capabilities for Propel's platform, integrations and technologies
Coordinate with the rest of the product management team to prioritize features as part of overall release roadmap
Collaborate with multiple departments to prioritize enhancement requests and address customer issues
Drive tasks and activities for on-time and quality delivery of Propel’s major and minor releases
Track and communicate changes to release scope and schedule with internal and external stakeholders
Responsible for driving delivery of post-release activities, including internal enablement, release notes, support articles, customer webinars and release retrospectives
To be successful in this role you bring:
1 - 3 years experience in product management, or 3 - 6 years experience in software development, implementation, or project management
Previous technical experience with middleware, technology integration, APIs and SaaS technologies
Self-motivation and initiative to drive product deliverablesDemonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
Outstanding intellectual ability with stellar capability to synthesize lots of information quickly
Ability to prioritize potentially conflicting requirements from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
Other skills that may be useful in this role:
Experience with Salesforce
Advanced verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
Experience in design, mockups and/or code
Enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit and persuasion skills to drive a common vision
