Project Access

Project Access is a global non-profit organization dedicated to breaking down the barriers that keep high-potential, low-opportunity students out of the world's top universities. Founded at the University of Oxford in 2015, the organization provides completely free, one-to-one mentorship programmes for students from underrepresented backgrounds who are applying to top undergraduate or graduate courses at leading institutions worldwide.

The organization matches students with mentors who have already navigated the exact application process at their dream universities, providing personalized guidance on everything from perfecting application essays to preparing for interviews. Beyond individual mentorship, Project Access has built the Access Academy - a custom platform packed with easy-to-follow modules, insider tips, and interactive resources including personal statement guides, interview tips, videos, PDFs, and quizzes available 24/7. The organization operates across multiple country teams including Austria, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Poland, and Singapore, supporting students from over 140 countries. Project Access has helped over 5,000 mentees achieve their dreams of attending prestigious universities, with a success rate exceeding 78%.
