Job Summary:
We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team! This role involves processing and validating invoices, handling discrepancies, reconciling supplier accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of AP experience, strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and is proficient in NetSuite.
This role requires candidates to have at least 1 year of recent experience with NetSuite. Please apply only if you meet this requirement.
Shift Schedule:
- U.S. Eastern Timezone (Night Shift in PH)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including timely and accurate processing and validation of invoices.
- Perform invoice validation based on standard operating procedures primarily on: Matching - 2-way, or 3-way
- Ensure proper coding and approvals are obtained for all accounting transactions in accordance with financial policies.
- Verify, investigate, and handle invoice discrepancies, develop corrective actions to remediate, eliminate, and reduce those errors; take initiative in issue resolution with other department or suppliers.
- Understand and effectively operate financial controls.
- Review and reconcile complex and critical supplier statement of accounts against company's records.
- Escalate items that interfere with the completion of the reconciliation activities to Manager.
Skills, Knowledge, and Education:
- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar or related role
- Strong accounting knowledge of AP process and systems
- Experienced with NetSuite is a MUST.
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Innovative and open minded
- Demonstrate accuracy and strong attention to details
- Good organizational skills with ability to succeed under tight deadlines
- Comfortable working in EST timezone hours
