Intelligence Researcher

We are currently seeking an Intelligence Researcher to join our dynamic team. As a researcher, you will play a critical role in gathering, analysing, and synthesising information from various sources to produce actionable intelligence for our clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive research on terrorism trends
• Gathering information from open-source databases, media outlets, academic sources, and other relevant platforms.
• Analysing and evaluating data to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks.
• Producing clear and concise reports and briefings based on your findings.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure the quality and accuracy of intelligence products.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• A strong background in research, preferably in the field of intelligence, security, or international relations.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in utilising various research tools and databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in conducting research and analysing data.
• Familiarity with open-source intelligence techniques and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Benefits

These are flexible, contract opportunities that require the following:

• A minimum of 10 hours per week
• Availability for one 30-minute video call within UK working hours per week
• To start within the next 4 weeks

This is an unsupported, individual piece of work. You will receive a brief and occasional check-ins, but will have the freedom to manage your workload and research tactics. The tasks can be completed outside of traditional working days and hours. Commitments and timelines will be discussed during the interview process. The contract will require you to work via a LTD company or act as a sole trader. The daily rate will depend on experience.
