About Presence

Presence is the leading provider of teletherapy solutions for children with diverse needs. Through our award-winning technology, Presence connects speech-language pathologists, school psychologists, occupational therapists, and mental health specialists to schools, districts, and organizations nationwide. Our growing network of 2,000+ clinicians has delivered over 7 million teletherapy sessions to K-12 students.

We are a remote-first, distributed workforce of 200+ corporate employees, headquartered in New York. We place a high value on “cameras on” engagement, schedule coordination and cross-functional communication to stay connected with each other when working in different places. Many roles require travel to create opportunities to engage in-person with our school partners, our clinicians, and each other.

About This Role

We’re looking for a motivated, tech-savvy Product Intern, Content Creation and Library Management to join our team for Summer 2025 and contribute to the development of innovative clinician resources. Reporting to the Clinical Expert for Product Technology and working closely with them, you’ll play a key role in supporting our mission to deliver teletherapy solutions for children with diverse needs. This internship is perfect for someone with some experience in speech-language pathology, proficiency in digital tools, and a passion for creating accessible learning resources. You’ll get hands-on experience in content curation – all while contributing to a mission-driven organization that helps children with special needs.

What will you do during your internship at Presence?

  • Engage in Content Creation: develop engaging learning materials by creating game boards and card decks, leveraging the power of AI technology tools to enhance their design and functionality.
  • Contribute to Content Curation: play a key role in enriching our Presence Collections by carefully selecting and organizing activities specifically for the summer months. Ensure seamless integration of existing publisher activities within our Library by utilizing the linking feature.
  • Support Library Management: contribute to the efficient organization and accessibility of our resources by reviewing newly acquired content, crafting clear and concise descriptions and relevant tags, and diligently uploading these materials into the Library.
  • Facilitate Publisher Communications: Proactively reach out to our current publishing partners to solicit new and timely seasonal content, ensuring our Library remains current and relevant for our users.

What we're looking for?

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate program (Communication Sciences and Disorders or Education) with an anticipated graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
  • Available to work up to 25 hours per week throughout the 8-week summer internship, running from June 16 to August 8.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Enthusiasm for remote work and “cameras on” collaboration.

What will help you succeed here?

  • Our team is committed to shared principles of inclusivity. We engage with all stakeholders in a spirit of listening, learning, and broadening our perspectives.
  • We commit to a growth mindset. We don’t use energy to explain why something can’t be done; we figure out how to make it happen.
  • We are mission-driven. Our work helps more children with special needs receive the necessary support. We believe our work is essential, meaningful, and urgent.
  • We believe in data-driven decision-making, measuring outcomes, and iterative improvements.

Where is this position located?

  • Presence is headquartered in New York, with our clients located throughout the U.S.
  • This is a remote position based in the US.
  • This position will report directly to the Clinical Expert for the Product Technology Team.
  • All employees commit to being available on-camera for our Core Working Hours, noon to 5 pm EST M-F.

How to Apply:

Submit your resume and a brief cover letter (max 300 words) explaining why you’re excited to join Presence and how your skills align with this role.
