Point-Foundation

Point Foundation is the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQ+ and ally students, supporting 1,250 scholars in the 2026-27 academic year. Since 2001, Point has worked to help LGBTQ+ and ally college students access and succeed in higher education through scholarship financing, leadership development, mentorship, and community support.

Point provides scholars with financial support, leadership and career development, and a lifelong community of students, alumni, and leaders in every field and industry. The organization's mission is to support the educational aspirations of LGBTQ+ and ally students to become impactful leaders in their lives, careers, and communities. Point is proud to be a top-rated nonprofit by watchdog groups including Charity Navigator, GuideStar, and the Better Business Bureau. The organization pursues excellence in all it does and is building for scale - growing the number of scholars it serves, expanding leadership and career development opportunities, and innovating on the systems and technology that let a nimble team reach further every year.
