With a strong presence in the luxury retail market, we are expanding our operations globally and seeking a strategic, results-driven Vice President of Finance to lead our financial strategy and operations through our next stage of growth.
Position Summary
The Vice President of Finance will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and risk management. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the organization by aligning fiscal strategy with business goals and supporting sustainable global growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the companys overall business objectives.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial planning, capital structure, and business expansion.
Lead financial due diligence and analysis for potential investments, partnerships, or acquisitions.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for multiple business units (manufacturing, wholesale, retail, e-commerce).
Provide actionable insights and performance analytics to improve decision-making and drive profitability.
Analyze trends, identify risks and opportunities, and present key financial insights to stakeholders.
Accounting & Reporting
Lead the accounting function and ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other relevant accounting standards.
Coordinate internal and external audits and manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions.
Cash Flow & Risk Management
Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial health and operational efficiency.
Monitor financial risks and implement internal controls to protect company assets.
Develop and maintain corporate policies and procedures to strengthen financial governance.
Team Leadership
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, supply chain, and marketing teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
Minimum of 1015 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial executive role.
Experience in consumer goods, luxury retail, or jewelry/fashion industry is highly desirable.
Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, corporate finance, accounting, and business analytics.
Strong knowledge of ERP and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise).
