Assistant Manager / Senior Executive Retail Leasing (2-Year Contract)

Responsibilities

• Secure suitable tenants that fit into the desired tenant mix at the mall
• Identify market trends, key insights and rethinking of marketing tools to lease out retail spaces
• Conduct market research of competitors and market benchmarks of rentals and occupancy costs
• Review and formulate marketing and leasing strategies for long-term sustainability
• Build and establish good tenant relationships and cultivate a strong network with prospects and partners.
• Manage key stakeholders and engage senior management on obtaining approvals for concepts, revenue budgets and sharing of any periodical updates.
• Prepare management reports and annual budgets, including review of rental rates for the client's portfolio of retail properties.
• Review rentals and occupancy periodically to implement appropriate marketing and renewal strategies to meet KPIs
• Tenants Management, including assisting the Credit Control team with arrears management to reduce company risk exposure.

Requirements

• Degree in Real Estate or equivalent
• Resourceful, energetic and confident individual with at least 6 years of retail leasing experience
• Effective interpersonal, negotiation, organisational and leadership skills
• Good contacts with retail players and agents
• Thrives under pressure
