As the Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the architecture, planning, implementation, and maintenance of database systems including strategic database design, planning, and execution, with emphasis on Azure technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math or technical field or equivalent combined work experience
- 2+ years working with relational database systems
- 2+ years Database Design experience
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and newer
- Azure SQL - Experience with SQL Managed Instance and Azure SQL Database, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines
- Experience working in a high demand 24x7 web environment (rotation 1 week/month)
- Experience writing, optimizing, and supporting T-SQL
- Experience with T-SQL execution plans
- Experience identifying and proposing solutions to performance problems
- Experience with performance tuning tools
- Experience with Azure Automation Runbooks and PowerShell
- Experience with SQL Server Query Store
- Experience with SQL Server Extended Events
- Experience creating and enforcing data and database coding standards
- Experience with Database design/Data Modeling
