Many customers in the financial world grapple with outdated, inefficient systems that hinder the speed and accessibility of asset movement. Trillions of dollars are often locked in this cumbersome financial plumbing, making it difficult for individuals and businesses to transact quickly and transparently. This is why Paxos is dedicated to building a new, open financial system. We are harnessing blockchain technology to create robust infrastructure that empowers enterprises to innovate and launch products for the financial markets of tomorrow. Our core mission is to enable the instant and trustworthy movement of any asset, to anyone, anywhere in the world. We understand that our customers, which include leading global enterprises like PayPal, Mastercard, Mercado Libre, and Interactive Brokers, need reliable and compliant solutions to navigate the evolving digital economy.

Our customers face the challenge of integrating cutting-edge digital asset capabilities into their existing frameworks while adhering to stringent regulatory requirements. Paxos addresses this by providing a suite of products and services, including crypto brokerage, stablecoin issuance and payments, and asset tokenization, all built within global regulatory structures. Since our founding in 2012 (initially as itBit), and becoming the first company to receive a limited-purpose trust charter for digital assets from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) in 2015, we have consistently prioritized regulation and compliance. This commitment allows our clients to confidently offer their customers access to digital assets, knowing they are supported by a platform that maintains the highest standards of security and transparency. We help enterprises tokenize, custody, trade, and settle assets, thereby eliminating operational inefficiencies and reducing counterparty risk. By partnering with Paxos, our customers can build the tools necessary to move real-world assets onto trustworthy, efficient digital ledgers, ultimately creating a more accessible and efficient financial system for everyone.
