About Expert Network

PEN’s goal is to use successful Explorer books as the starting point for £50k+ LTV book franchises that can secure the top spot in Amazon categories. Strong editorial resources are at the heart of PEN, so development editors play a key role in publishing bestselling titles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the editing process from inception to publication, ensuring precision, coherence, and market relevance.
• Develop a deep understanding of the technical publishing landscape, staying updated on new tech releases and trends.
• Gather and integrate customer feedback to enhance book quality and reader satisfaction.
• Cultivate collaborative relationships with authors, providing expert guidance to elevate their content.
• Coordinate seamlessly with stakeholders to drive project success and meet deadlines consistently.

Measures of success

• Attain top rankings in relevant Amazon book categories, showcasing market dominance.
• Establish enduring author loyalty, reflecting bespoke editorial support.
• Garner consistently positive feedback from customers, indicating high satisfaction.
• Demonstrate tangible instances where user feedback has directly improved book content.

Who you are

• Minimum 3-4 years of editorial experience in the technical publishing industry
• Genuine passion for technology with a track record of staying ahead of industry trends
• Collaborative mindset with exceptional communication skills
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
