Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Data Scientist to lead our data-driven initiatives and provide actionable insights that drive business growth. The role involves analyzing large volumes of e-commerce and customer data, building predictive models, and translating complex findings into strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with the ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders, helping guide decision-making in marketing, product, pricing, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze datasets on customer behavior, sales performance, and marketing effectiveness.
• Build predictive models to forecast sales, optimize inventory, and anticipate customer preferences.
• Perform customer segmentation and lifetime value analysis to support retention strategies.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests for features, pricing, and campaigns.
• Create dashboards and reports to track KPIs and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to identify opportunities and implement data-driven solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role (preferably in e-commerce, retail, or distribution).
• Strong proficiency in Python or R, with expertise in Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Matplotlib/Seaborn).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with supply chain or logistics data.
• Knowledge of NLP techniques for analyzing customer reviews or social media.
• Experience with the UK e-commerce and retail landscape.

Additional Requirements

• Must be currently residing in the Philippines or Latin America.
• Must have a stable internet connection and a remote-ready workstation.
