We are seeking a skilled Manual QA Engineer to join our Access Server teamwith Linux and networking knowledge. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for developing testing strategies, reporting test execution progress, and collaborating with an engineering team.
Your contribution will include:
Help develop, improve, and employ testing strategies and techniques.
Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Report on test execution progress and results.
Participate in design and specification reviews and use this information to design test plans.
Promote QA productivity through best practices.
Requirements
You’ll be a great fit if you have the following:
5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.)
Experienced Linux user with skills in setting up MySQL-like DBs and auth systems (Debian and RHEL)
Experience in UI and API testing
Experience with Virtualization (VMs, ESXI)
Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, Oracle)
Familiarity with issue tracking tools (Jira) and understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
Upper-intermediate English level, both spoken and written
Bonus points for:
Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, LDAP, SQLite DB, Active Directory) and security tools, as well as understanding SSL web certificate use and PKI
Experience with automation frameworks and programming languages (either Python, Java, or JavaScript)
