Project Coordinator, Strategic Publication Planning

Job Summary

Our Project Coordinators enjoy working in a fast-paced agency environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Working closely with medical, editorial, and account management personnel in coordinating work to accomplish project goals
  • Completing data entry in proprietary databases
  • Providing internet research support and summarizing findings
  • Modifying time and event schedules according to team direction
  • Assisting teams with various administration tasks
  • Assisting with the trafficking of assigned publication projects including internal (ie, account, medical, and editorial) and external (ie, author, client, and journal/congress) deadlines
  • Administering project documentation filing and folder maintenance
  • Facilitating material to all external partners via email, SharePoint, and FedEx
  • Complying with established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Helping populate and maintain Datavision records
  • Scheduling internal status meetings
  • Researching relevant journal and congress databases to update grids used by the internal and client teams
  • Maintaining project status reports

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, biology, life sciences, or related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of general business, pharmaceutical, or medical communications experience
  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing challenges, issues, and priorities with the ability to delegate and set clear expectations
  • Strong knowledge of MS365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team structure
  • Aptitude for the English language and excellent written and verbal communication skills

Travel Requirements

10% potential global travel
