Software Regional Sales Director - West

The primary responsibility of the Reginal Sales Director is to Manage and lead a sales team for a given territory. Communicates, implements and executies all sales activities and strategies to maximize sales revenues in line with corporate objectives. Accurately forecasts revenue.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction, development and inspiration to team members
• Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce
• Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members
• Manages software field sales members in the sale of the organization’s software products or services to specific existing named or strategic accounts on a geographic basis
• Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities
• Responsible for organizing cross functional teams’ engagement with accounts
• Assumes responsibility for sales objectives.

Qualifications

-12+ years of relevant experience

• Strong ability to build and lead top sellers
• Proven track record in building customer relationships and retention
• Ability to travel in territory up to 50% of the time
• Strong understanding of customer/industry climate
• Moderate to high level of solutions and technical knowledge
