Nortal is seeking a Java Engineer to join a globally distributed team. They aim to digitize governments, improve healthcare, and create agility for businesses. The role involves translating storyboards into functional applications, improving performance and responsiveness, and troubleshooting issues with deployed systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Good communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Working knowledge of Java programming language
  • Working knowledge of core frameworks - Spring / Spring Boot
  • Experience with relational database development, SQL, and schema design (e.g., PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MySQL)
  • Comfortable using version control systems, preferably Git
  • Proficient unit-testing including mock testing
  • Implements and manages performance and integration tests
