Young Persons Adviser
Do you want to make a difference to young people's futures and are you passionate about ensuring that all young people can realise their potential through engaging in education, employment or training?
We are looking to recruit a Young Persons’ Adviser to work across Norfolk, working with NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) young people aged 16-18. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real contribution to increasing young people’s participation in EET.
Your experience and understanding of the support young people need to make a successful transition into education, employment or training will be vital.
You will have the ability to engage young people using virtual methods and in person. Effective communication with a range of professionals along with good organisational skills, the ability to work within timescales and achieve outcomes for young people will be essential. You will have excellent IT skills and digital knowledge.
Norfolk County Council operates a hybrid working model and we anticipate that working remotely will be a feature of this role, your office base will be in County Hall, Norwich. Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.
